Acrylic on canvas painting of a fox hound by a New York art stable (a collective of artists working for a studio) to produce collections for sale. William Skilling (1862-1964) was an artist in the stable, as well as 15 other artists who worked on the projects/ collections together. The piece is signed on lower right and features the hallmark faux tortoise frame and antique paint finishes, artists such as Sherry Felix, innovated to create for this studio.
