Pair of 18th C English George II carved giltwood eagle console tables with green marble tops, raised on faux green marble plinth bases (2 pieces) . (Chips and breaks commensurate with age and use, including a 8.75"x 7.25" repaired break in one marble top.) Provenance: the estate of George Randolph Hearst, Sr., which purchased the tables from interior designer,David Phoenix of Los Angles who purchased them from C. Mariani Antiques of Los Angles. Tables are accompanied by copies of (1) a receipt from David Phoenix Interior Design and (ii) a letter guaranteering authenticity of the provenance from C. Mariani Antiques.
